We survived Internet withdrawal

After some trying weeks in a village setting, we are back in the capital city. We did progress a little with our language learning, but still have a ways to go. Memorable moments included several village meetings, working in the fields, and "hira" long evening conversations with new friends.

Off the bush

We're off again, this time to the East for language immersion. We'll see how it goes!

Work

With the end of the fiscal year, there are many reports to compile. Beth has been helping significantly as well. But, we were still able to get away to a village visit this week, since Beth needed to interview a family for a work-related writing assignment. The villagers also tried to teach us how to weed their millet fields.
